Most prestigious wins(football)
Hey guys, I'm nerding it out making fact sheets for all SBC schools and one subject that was a little hard to find was the most prestigious win for the school so far I have:

APP beats 5Michigan (duh)
Geo South beats Florida (duh)
And Geo State beats South Alabama(eh)

I was wondering if schools not yet covered could tell me what they consider their biggest win, and geo state fans let me know if you consider there to be a better one; include score and date plz and Ty

USA really doesn't have much history, but throttling ULL is probably all we got

Hard to say with ASU. If you ask most fans, our best win was the win over #25 Kent State in the Go Daddy Bowl last year, but in terms of name, our 2008 win over Texas A&M got more attention. Problem is the Aggies went 3-9 that year.

Florida didn't have a great season either so I don't discount the win over A&M I'll probably put both for ASU

ULM best wins are probably Alabaman 2006 and Arkansas in 2012. We also be another p5 school in 2013 in wake forest.

I don't know if you are looking for us, but in 1975, after several years of futility, we beat TCU 24-7 early in the season. Though the 1979 win over TCU, 21-14, might mean more since we finished 9-2 that year, our best record at the highest level. TCU was in the Southwest Conference at that time and any win over the SWC was a good one.

Since UTA was a football school at some point I'll be sure to add that to their fact sheet, when I get all of these done probably by around June, I'm going to try to post them for all to enjoy and criticize etc.

Any Cajun win over Lolly Polly because that school just reeks of prestige. Don't believe me, just as any Lolly Polly fan.

LMAO your biggest win is beating a conference team that wasn't ranked with 3 loses and a freshman quarter back making his first start. I would have said beating Tulane would have been bigger for your program you should expect to win some conference games heck all of them for that matter.

So far those are by far the most impressive wins in my opinion and they are all fairly resent.

It's his opinion. Don't be so condescending. They've had football what? 5 years? Not a lot to choose from.

RE: Most prestigious wins(football)
Being a TXST newbie (since 2004 only) I have to go with
FCS - comeback win over Georgia Southern in the 2005 quarter finals or the come from behind OT win over SHSU for the 2008 conference title.

FBS - while it's not earth shattering and hardly a signature win (but since we've only been FBS 2 years) I have to go with UH.

While WKU is no longer a football playing member of the SBC I feel we are still part of this so

I would say that while a single win over uk isn't as good as the win vs Navy this year. The back to back wins on the road and a neutral field over the state and SEC school is our biggest wins

Probably going to go with the Houston win, but that's mainly cause at app beating geo south is a way of life
