Golden Globes
Anybody watch? If so, what'd y'all think about the winners/losers?

I'm surprised by all the Brooklyn 9-9 hate. Hilarious show and I don't think anyone complaining about it winning has actually ever seen it.

Glad McConaughey won for his role in DBC. Great movie and even better performance, Jared Leto's as well. McConaughey's speech was perfect. Of course, starting it off with a Wooderson quote (No, not that one) pretty much ensured that it'd be great.

RE: Golden Globes
Haven't been able to see many of the movies, yet. Looking forward to seeing them all.

In regards to Brooklyn 99, I wasn't impressed with it. At all. I guess I need to give it a little more than the two episodes I watched. But, Big Bang deserved the awards in my opinion.

Guess it just depends on your sense of humor. I thought 99 was great all season. I've never found Big Bang to be funny. Only draw for me is Kelly Cuoco and she's better seen and not heard.

Missed it in theatres unfortunately. Couldn't believe how quickly it came and went here.

RE: Golden Globes
was good with the brooklyn 99 win. A new favorite of ours, just as BBT & Modern Family are. Would have been good seeing it go to any of the 3.

Haven't seen 12 years a slave yet, but plan to. Just saw American Hustle yesterday. Very good movie (plus Amy Adams' wardrobe) so I can definitely agree with all the noms (craziness in the "categories" not withstanding).

Rush was a very good movie, but had forgot all about it since it came out so long ago. Really neat to see the real driver up on stage.

RE: Golden Globes
I enjoy watching those awards shows. But it always reminds me how far behind I am on movies and tv shows.

RE: Golden Globes
I was shocked B99 won. Very happy though, love that show.

Also liked Seth Meyer's genuine shock and happiness when Samberg won his award
