People are celebrating in Athens, GA tonight too.

What is really strange is that our neighbors 50 miles to the west are losing players declaring for the draft & coaches jumping ship for other programs.

Sounds to me like Louisville really has a generous checkbook for gathering coaches. UAB may find it has to wait until such well endowed schools finish stocking up before any of the better coaches we might invite will see what UAB has to offer. Might we lose any of our remaining coaches as well?

Yep, and a lot of them aren't even 1st rounders........not sure what's going on over there-lol.

My wife's best friend is a TV Sports producer in Knoxville, and spent this weekend with us. She said Knoxville is buzzing with the hiring of Kiffin, and they are happy, as Saban has just committed career suicide by hiring Lane.

Like any long time Blazer fan, I have numerous reasons to find Louisville fans obnoxious and classless.

The TV gal said Knoxville wasn't near big enough for Mrs. Kiffen. And my wife's friend expected them to live in Hoover/OTM/Ross Bridge/Mountain Brook and somewhere very upscale.

Well, UGA's defense has been suspect from time to time and its pass D has always seemed to be crappy. If UAB doesnt hire Neal for HC, Id love for him to take over the Dawgs defense.

Some have hinted that Kirby Smart may be the next fall guy at Alabama.

With that said, Georgia would be a good move for him.

That's the rumor in Athens. HC in waiting.

Saban has done all he wanted to accomplish at Alabama. Now his goal is to make sure nobody does it after him.
