BG basketball sucks, our coach blows and needs to go and there is little to no talent on that team worthy of a D1 scholarship. There was nobody anywhere acting like that was some sort of easy or guaranteed win, nobody.
And nobody is saying we're Kent, much less Ohio. Now we have been relatively close to that ages ago and can certainly be again...but it's a long way away and will never start until our current coach is gone.
So we probably did you a favor by winning, maybe helped give your coach a boost out the door.
Sadly, no. He's on the last year of an awful contract with a buyout clause that would just be a waste of money at this point. They're gonna have to ride out this disaster and hope the damage isn't permanent.
Ya got nothin' to worry about. We survived Ricardo Patton.
It's been 3 years and look at us now!
Yeah...but at least BG has had some modicum of success in the not too distant past. You guys on the other hand haven't had much since the days of Allen Rayhorn!
Not true, we went to the NCAA a couple times since then, most recently late 90s I think.

While I enjoy an Allen Rayhorn reference as much as anyone, 007 is correct. A TJ Lux reference would have been more appropriate.
95/96 Season NCAA Tournament first round loss by one point to #8 Texas Tech. TJ was battling the flu that day but we almost pulled off the upset.
