Southern Conference to sponsor Men's Lacrosse
This wasn't unexpected, given the shuffling of schools between the Atlantic Sun and SoCon:

Still no word on whether Air Force, the last remaining member of ECAC Lacrosse, has found a place to play for 2015. Air Force had previously expressed interest in the Atlantic Sun (now SoCon).

Interesting that SoCon felt like they needed to do this instead of just staying out of the lacrosse game. A-Sun lacrosse is such a hodge-podge of programs to begin with, some of whom I don't expect to be there in a few years anyway.
