Goal for Tulane is to simply avoid the blow-out against LT then (hopefully) be in a good state of mind for the Rice game, which is at least winnable.

We'll find out how good Ootsa really is this week. They've been good so far. The way their fans were crying doomsday I thought they couldn't beat a high school team. Maybe they were just using the Don Haskins approach and made the other teams think (ootsa) they weren't good. We have to play them twice which makes these games important.

Tough stretch for UTEP and UTSA.

Would have liked for the starting lineup to gel a bit more before these games, but it is what it is.

I hope UTEP is giving Tim Floyd a pass on this season since he's had to get rid of some players

From the administration, yes, from the fans, the jury is still out. Some fans are others not so much.

I'm not blaming him for the troubles we've had because they're all players fault. Next year it might be different.

Regardless of the wins/losses this season; if the effort is there, the fans will give Floyd his credit.

The fan base in general, supports him. The fan base is also a basketball-knowledge sophisticated group, and it knows/appreciates what Floyd is up against this season.

From a far distance, that is exactly my impression, too.

LA Tech could really assert themselves as the frontrunners this week by winning both road games.

We'll see how good Tech and UTSA are on the road, along with Tulsa. I say Tech beats Tulane and loses to USM, Tulsa Beats Marshall and loses to Charlotte, and USTA loses to UAB and MTSU. Wont'' that be a logjam at the top....

Tulsa came into conference play with a 5-9 OOC. You won't find Tulsa fans giving our players a glowing approval with that kind of OOC record, nor should they. We have won our last 3 games, that is longest win streak we have had this season. Although our inside game seems to be coming along. Our free throw shooting needs to get better and our boneheaded fouls need to stop. Other than that our shots are falling a bit more consistently. We are putting it together at the right time.

I remember Tulsa beat UTEP twice last year. Like to see if we can't pull that off again this season. 03-nutkick04-rock

Charlotte needs to rebound in a big way by winning both games this week. Every loss we had this season has been demoralizing in some fashion.

Does anyone know if FIU's Panther Vision (their online games) is free?

FAU has been a lot more competitive than I expected. They lost by 4 @ Maryland, 3 @ Boston College, 9 @ Depaul, 5 vs Elon, 2 points to Stetson and St Francis. They are a team that seems to hang around to the end.

I think Tulsa gets a win in Charlotte tonight. Hope I'm wrong, but we've been playing like a bunch of ******** since the PR tournament.

Hope you are wrong, but Tulsa seems to always have our number. In fact, have we ever beat Tulsa? According to this site we've played them 3 times and lost all 3.

Thanks and agreed. ODUs online service leaves a lot to be desired and still costs $10 a month.

Looking forward to a good game. 04-cheers
