RE: Huskies @ Falcons predictions
The ladies sure did destroy EMU today...and EMU is really good at ladies basketball this year.

...and MAC West really looks up for grabs this year. The opportunity to surprise appears to be there.

Not sure we can finish this one, we got bad Bowie today. He scores double figures every other game. Aaric Armstead seems to be getting more confidence. Threloff and Rakocevic have gotten so bad its killing us. If we are not going to make free-throws, they might as well head back to DeKalb now! Need this win bad, three of next four are in DeKalb.

Bowie is rebounding well...but also turning it over.

as expected, they weren't quite ready to play this game. They actually are a pretty darn good team

RE: Huskies @ Falcons predictions
You are right. BG talent showed up second half.
Watch NIU players catch the ball off a pass. Every coach teaches players to be in a triple threat balance position. Be able to jump shoot, drive or pass the ball. Our players are off balance to make that quick jumper. By time he does get his balance the D is on him.
Pick and screen are not set right or the quard has no clue how to us the pick. Pick and pop forget it. Roll forget it.

Not sure what the BG announcers were complaining about on that charge call. He ran his arm right into Threloff's face.

You could build one hell of a pizza oven from all the bricks today. Man. Free throws in this game are painful to watch.

This play by play announcer makes Hawk Harrelson look as objective as Jim Nance.

Now I know why there was no over under line on this game.

NIU can win this game if we keep playing at this low pace sloppy tempo. We are a better slop team than BG.

At least four of us are watching.

Slipping into that zone for a time probably cost us this game.

Jim Nance isn't good...but Simms makes him look good by comparison, and Hawk is his own breed of awful...I'm a sox fan but I totally understand the Hawk-hate.

The refs never should've agreed to use a square basketball in this game. Look at the results!

I could be wrong, but I think NIU's last 4 points are on 4 1 for 2 trips to the free throw line.
