Rick Neuheisel
Anyone mention Neuheisel yet? I know he was considered before, has friends in Birmingham, would be a splash hire and great in the community, and is currently not coaching. Since Alabama didn't hire him as OC, maybe we have a shot.

My list in no particular order:
Rick Neuhiesel
Ed Orgeron
John Neal
Tyrone Nix
Bill Clark (buy-out may be only question)
Josh Niblett (could hired at 300k range)
Terry Bowden (Bobby would be visible and help in fundraising)
Jim Leavitt
Mike Singletary (asst with Vikings, but NFL head coaching experience)
Houston Nutt

I would be thrilled with any name on this list.

I agree. While he does gave many negatives he has a few positives. 1. His daddy could help within the Bham Business community. 2. National name recognition. 3. Head coaching experience.

Not saying he should be the guy, but we could do worse.
