If UAB can get him, he'd be the best pick.

As much as I would love to see it, I have a feeling coach O will cost to much. He is the type of guy we should go after once the program is more sucessful. Most know the word fiscal responsibility will come from the BOT again. Right now, we need a bargain. Just because McGee made 500K doesn't mean the next guy has to make the same. We need a lower level head coach who will be happy with less and some incentives to make his salary competitive.

McGee's $550,000 a year pay ranked No.7 in CUSA.........don't think you can go too much lower than that.

You think the BOT cares about that?

If the devil is real, then you better learn how to play the devil's game. That's Mackin's main problem with football. He needs to start thinking two steps ahead, and not go down the path the devil is leading him.

Alabama expected to lose a defensive coach. That's why Steele stayed - the promise of an onfield position. The question was who was leaving? Unless someone else leaves I expect Steele to become a full-time asst coach...

Yes. Did you see the players at UAB under his leadership? They would go through fire and brimstone for that man. That's the kind of head coach I want UAB to have.

That's twice someone in this thread has said Orgeron coached at UAB. Did I miss that era.

Hearing Ed Orgeron may be the new DL coach at #Alabama. Nothing definitive yet, but source says it'll happen "unless they hit a snag".

Maybe they're confusing Orgeron with Oregon (Coach Neal)???
