The ONLY question that will be on the minds of all who follow his career in the NFL will most certainly be: Can Kay throw the ball with his jersey over the throwing shoulders pads? NFL has some dress codes that college doesn't. An absolutely paramount issue that will need to be addressed. 02-13-banana COGS

I thought Kay would be good as the third quarterback / reserve punter on some team's practice squad. Then after a year or two of healing and practicing, he could work up to a good backup QB.

He'll do much more than that with the right situation. He took part in the Payton Manning QB camp last summer. You don't go there unless they think highly of you. He's a mobile pocket passer who's very durable. He can make all the throws and he's able to run a complex offense.

Hate to say this, but as banged up as he is, he probably shouldn't be playing anymore.

The kid clearly has some lingering injuries. I'm betting those will keep many NFL teams away. Wouldn't be surprised to see someone give him a shot as an UDFA, though.
