Is that an Indoor Football Practice Facility? I Know Marshall fans reported the cost of their facility to be around $15 million so what yours costing?

Ours is so nice that it has pissed the eerdiots off up north and they are demanding theirs be torn down and redone. They were thrilled about it until they saw ours.

On the exterior, I think their's looks nicer than what is shown in your renderings to be honest.

It is an Indoor Practice Facility.

Price tag is 12.5 million, 100 yard field and included a 4 lane track. It does not include an academic performance center, that will come later.

Their may look nice but it was only 80 yards and the ceiling prevent punting. Holgorson actually wants them to burn it down. That is all they could get funding for at the time as I understood it. Once ours is complete it will look really good. All you see now is the shell.

I misread your post, I thought you were referring to Ohio. Your post came right after the Ohio poster mentioned their's. You guys have a rivalry with them, so I thought it was in response to him.

According to Hamrick, when ours is done it will be one of the top 3 indoor facilities in the Nation. 110 yards, full competition track, seating for sanctioned events.

RE: MU IPF Construction Update
I thought I saw a comment that Marshall's IPF will cost $25MM...when you put in a competition track the facility has to be much larger. OU and Miami (O) are constructing similar IPF that costs about half as much since both just have a 4 lanes of 100 yards for track practice.

I think ours is in the 13Mil range, just for the IPF. The 25M includes an academic center and training facility that will be built starting next fall. Others may know specifics. The OU facility looks nice as well.

How many starters do the Cats have coming back next fall?

Almost all of the defense is supposed to be back for next season. Lose the #1 QB, RB, WR to graduation though.

Ohio is planning to build an academic center too once the naming rights to the basketball and football facilities are sold. That will actually be located within the football stadium and have a seating expansion to go with it.

I hope you update your football stadium. Peden is old, but it isn't nice by any stretch of the imagination.

In a recent article dated 1/4/14, Mike Hamrick said the total cost of the IAF, academic center, sports medicine facility and HOF is $25M. IAF will have a full 120 yard field, six lane track, seating for 1,000, batting cages for baseball/softball and portable indoor tennis courts.

Nice. Going top shelf with that.

Ohio is one of those schools that values tradition. The original design of Peden called for a horseshoe and that school is finally ready to complete it almost 100 years later with the academic services building.

Maintenance on the stadium has been deferred for a good 10 years. That is what you may be thinking about when you see the rust and soot stains on the stadium. With the next expansion cosmetic repairs should be taken care of.

MU IPF Construction Update
I think the renderings above were the first design. If I'm not mistaken the complex has been redesigned and will look more like this when finished.

RE: MU IPF Construction Update
This might be a little off topic, but when will they install the new turf at the Joan and what do you guys want it to look like? I would prefer if we went with design like Arizona's football field.
