I stated in an earlier post, McGee leaving will shine light on the situation and it appears to becoming true, I hope the light continue to shine on the BOT where it belongs.

The new coach must be someone who's been there done that and wants a new beginning, someone who is in the 50 yoa range give or take a few, someone who have made enough money where its not an issue, someone who's had success and is looking to ressurrect a career and a program.
Someone who really believes UAB is a destination job as in their final chance to do what they love, and final hurrah.

Now whether a new coach can negotiate around the BOT, see some tangible progress and have promises that are made fulfilled IN SPITE OF THE BOT will go far in determining the direction as far as hiring the coach I described.
