I would not exactly discount him. He has won everywhere he has been. I knocked him early for the schedule they had been playing, but this year they were pretty competitive.

I don't see it happening though it would be nice. He seems like he's good at building programs, he's one of Bear's boys (about the only one left in the profession) so might be amenable to them.

I prefer to think of him as former Birmingham Stallion Joey Jones.

It is kid of odd though - the rumors I have heard is that he was not remotely interested - even when he was here in Bham

One of the best catches I ever saw was by Jones as a Stallion. I can't imagine what he would have accomplished as a receiver, if he had been 6'6'".

Judi g by the Facebook page, I thought his son was 12 or 13. Turns out he is 27.

I suspect the whole thing is a joke and not one flattering of UAB.

We we're paying McGee $200K more than he's getting at South.

Looking at his son's pictures, I would think he would love South Alabama.

That being said, he's not going to be the next coach at UAB.
