RE: New TE Coach
Is that the same Craig Harmon that was a QB at NIU the year we lost like 4 QBs to injury? He transferred after that year when everyone came back and Finlen was named the starter.

Yes it is, He was a Joe Novak favorite. He played hard and smart with limited physical abilities. He was tough. Glad to see ex Huskies who want to be back in deKalb.

Craig is a friend and former teammate. This is a tremendous hire. He has worked his way up the chain and deserves this opportunity.

Presumably he's been recruiting Wisconsin and northern Illinois since that's where most of Whitewater's players come from so he should be a seamless replacement for Polasek in that respect.

Yeah, outside of his time at Georgia State he's spent his career at small colleges in the area- St. Francis in Joliet, then this year at Whitewater. High School coaches in the Chicago area, NW IN, and WI should know him.

RE: New TE Coach
Wow we must be desperate! The guy was the worst grad coach we ever had even worse than james brochu. We need to get some money so we can hire real coaches that can coach.

Notice how nobody is going after any of our coaches after this year. I am afraid we are going into the Novak days of bad coaching and decision making. You can have all the talent in the world but if you don't have coaching you cannot win.

Can NIU get their head out of their ass and get a decent kicking coach. Its pathetic that we as fans blame Sims who had ZERO help on kicking after a serious injury. I do NOT want any excuses I want results and I want some changes.

All the serious programs are changing things around because they didnt win a championship or achieve their goals. WHY ARE WE NOT DOING THAT???? NIU will not be taken serious if we allow a staff to come in BLOW IT and have zero consequences. In 2 years I hope we aren't regretting PJ not being here that would be sad and I really don't like the guy
