You do realize you can still read the threads, don't you?
oh no doubt. i was going to mention that, but immersing oneself into this culture is another animal. we're a family here, what took you so long?
Not speaking for anyone else but I am an exile from Bearcat News. Great site but the forums had become inactive. Not sure how I did not stumble upon this place years ago.

I think Athlon smokes meth out of light bulbs. Quite frankly, this year was a disappointment and the staff can go screw. The recruiting has been "bleh" too. Eddie Gran's offense is down right painful to watch. I get no joy out of watch 160 lbs scat backs, trying to plow their way between the tackles, and then they kept having McClung do kick returns. What the hell was that about? How many times did he have mental mistakes this year doing returns? Heads up their rears, bunch of old fogies.
I think UNC finished 7-1 down the stretch. They struggled early on but improved as the season progressed. I think they had a bad first half of the season.
Not having Longo and Bujnoch, I thought, hurt our chances.
This.
To act as tho UNC had nothing to do with our L and we simply didn't show up is a disservice. I'm not sure why people don't quite get that we were working from a talent deficit in the first place. UC is not to the point where we just show up and win. It's more than that.

Well a lot of the jerkiest ones have probably been banned As for the rest, it would be hard for them to brag considering Kingsbury also received the same B+ grade (even with a #5 ranking despite losing their final 5 games).
Of course one year isn't a lot to judge a new HC hire off of, but TT's performance is enhanced by comparing it to the other 30 coaches on the list imo. Even for a non-expert like myself, there's a lot of fairly well-known names that were ranked a lot worse by Athlon.
