OT: since you guys know me pretty good...
I recently got engaged. It was eighteen degrees outside when I finally popped the big question to my girlfriend/now fiance. I chose the bowling alley where we had our first date, and popped the question right there in the parking lot. She said yes very fast, and she was beaming. No date on the wedding though, but we got it narrowed down to 3 dates. 07-coffee3

Congratulations.

Just don't get married at the bowling alley..

I got married in June. We did a destination wedding, which was cool, until our venue burned down.. We still had an awesome wedding and reception, just outside, HA.

I've been married for 5 years (6 years in May) and while I can make many jokes I'll save those for you to just experience yourself becuase you will eventually. We all do.

Congratulations!

May your marriage be as enjoyable, peaceful, and rewarding as mine has been for 42 years.

I thought you were married a lot longer than that. I guess you just dated a lot longer? I know I've seen you and yours walking around tailgates n stuff for like 10-12 years. July'll be my 5th anniversary on the second go around so I guess that's a good thing. 1 year longer than my 1st marriage, lol.

Anyways, good luck OP. My 40 year old brother finally got engaged on Xmas Day. Didn't think he was ever gonna settle down.

Dawg, she said yes just to get inside quickly from the cold, you better ask her when it's nice and warm.

Peaceful? What. Your wife is mute? LOL, just kidding old tiger. I've put up with my "second" wife for 24 years, 25 in March. Man, time flies.

Word of warning, women consider dogs to be practice for kids. When she starts wanting to get a dog she's preparing you for children.

Thank you NCBeta. My fiance really loves me and I really love her. It's very rare than you don't see us together, because usually when you see me, you see her also, and vice versa. And NCBeta, if your girlfriend really loves you for you, and you really love her for her also (it also helps if it least one of you has a somewhat stable job) take the plunge. You won't regret it.
