Meant to be a joke, to lighten the mood. Heck we know you have lots of fans. That's good. Hopefully they stick around for AAC play.
Ciny, UCF, USF(just cause we hate them that much), UH, Navy will all be sold out games. Ciny goes back decades and UH we had a good tight rivalry with since joining C-USA, USF was hate at first sight, UCF has become a good rival, Navy is a close geographic rival. Memphis, UConn, and other should sell well. No worries here.

Hopefully a good sponsor comes along for the St. Pete bowl
I heard Reddit's subreddit /r/CFB was trying to crowd source it... ???
No idea, but that's on ESPN, they own it. I do know that going forward, the year the AAC is in it, it will be a post Christmas date, not sure if that is true for the other years. It just these pre-Christmas dates are so bad for attendance with people traveling to families members homes for the holidays. I couldn't go because I was hosting some of my family at my house this year(last year). Had it been the following Friday or Saturday I would have been there and I know at least 100 other personally that didn't go that would have as well. Two days before Christmas on a Monday is just a attendance killer.
Sponsors put up the millions they do to have a full stadium and millions watch on TV for advertising. When ESPN goes and set the date pre-Christmas on a Monday at 2 PM, killing attendance and TV ratings it's no wonder BOB left as the title sponsor. Some much cost with little return. It isn't because of one year attendance or ratings, none of the BOB bowls have had great attendance figures or ratings. The highest attendance was 2009 Rutgers v UCF at 28,973, lowest, 2010 UofL v USM 20,017. Marshall v FIU 2011 was 20,072 and ECU v Ohio 2013 was 20,053.

We took 17,500 to DC in 2010, but call me when you send 30,000 to a bowl game.
Your tickets also weren't $78 each.

NO F*CKING . Who in their right mind would move TO West Virginia? You act like all of your fans drive from West Virginia to watch Marshall play in Greenville, which is wrong.
You have more alumni in our state vs. our alumni living in your state. Period.
We have less than 200 alumni in your state.
Assuming you follow the trend of Big Brother, a good sum of their alumni come to North Carolina.
Plus y'all have three Alumni chapters in North Carolina, with four more in both Virginia and South Carolina. We don't any any official presence in West by god Virginia.
So stop acting like it is the same, because it isn't.

It's a joke they want to talk crap about anything related to their small time fanbase. App State has more fans in the stands playing FCS schedules in a similar region. We had more in the 1970's.

Florida bowls should be prime opportunities, however that bowl has always had goofy sponsorship and is played in an odd-ball stadium.
Getting a legitimate sponsor to replace MagicJack and now Beef O'Brady's could begin a new and improved image for the bowl.
Moving to a legitimate football stadium in the Tampa area would also be a big step, but I'm sure the city of St Pete wouldn't be too enthused about that.
