I had forgotten how terrible MAC officials are. It's pathetic. 03-banghead03-hissyfit01-lauramac203-weeping

So...just to be clear...

Fouls:
Toledo - 30
WMU - 23

*with Toledo committing 6 fouls in the last 1:51 while playing catch up.
*and did you want to mention the first half when WMU was getting called for "breathing"?

So are trying to pretend that because UT shot way more free throws than WMU and that the fouls were roughly equal that the refs weren't blatant homers?

Partly...

Foul Shots
Toledo - 30 attempts
WMU - 41 attempts

*disparity occurred during last 1:51

What I'm really saying is that the refs are bad during every game. When a person's "team" doesn't come out on top, it always seems it's because the calls didn't go their way...when in reality, they had/have little to do with outcome (especially in this case).

Guess I didn't see the final stats. At one point UT was way ahead on free throw attempts.

Perhaps you think that 23 fouls are a lot. However, it doesn't seem to be so many when they probably committed 75.

I realize that some people have comprehension issues, so I will be gentle. Go back and read my post. I never said that the refs were the reason for us losing the game. That doesn't mean they weren't terrible refs and horrible calls.

RE: MBB at WMU
My response is simple...the refs had nothing to do with the outcome wednesday night. They didn't make it more difficult or easy for either team. They were equally bad both ways and until the 1:51 mark, the fouls called and free throws attempted were very similar for both teams.
