Sorry for the wrong forum posting - just trying to get some visibility. Nothing huge, just a difference of opinion with MR. Basically got banned for questioning the value of the site and complaining over a moved thread that some thought was "anti-whatever". Most folks over there are great. My personal opinion is that as long as you are a big CJP fan you get "a long leash" in general on the site and probably won't have any problems enjoying yourself or being insulted. That said, I think most people who have followed my posts over the years here and otherwise would have an extremely hard time finding anything worthy of banning, especially by comparison, but opinions vary I guess.

Coach Aaron - great guy whom I know personally - was threatened with banishment over there for mentioning that pastner and frank were brother in laws.

Kind of silly. They ARE brother in laws, why is that taboo?

Well, um, yeah, there's a bit more to it than that. But I admire your defense. MR is good for the program and a great supporter of the staff, and I truly mean that.

I've never logged in over there, just know what I was told by someone I know well who I respect (and who provides a lot of insight into what's going on with the program).

If you're talking about the Coach Aaron that I think you're talking about, then I have no idea why he would say that. As far as I know, he and I are still on very solid ground.

As to the accusation that I (or someone else) threatened to ban him and removed posts/threads because he brought up Frank's marriage to Candice, that is absolutely, ridiculously, categorically, [insert another adjective here] false. I can't say that in any other way. It's simply not true.

As for 80s, it is what it is. Niles is spot on that 80s "made the decision himself" to be banned. Apparently he believes there was more to it than that, but I personally took his post to mean that he wanted me to go ahead and ban him. If there was a miscommunication, he knows how to get in touch with me. There apparently wasn't one, because I haven't heard from him other than this passive, aggressive thread here.
