They destroyed every team they played in the playoffs. That's three National Championships in a row for NDSU.

I think they would beat the majority of FBS teams. With the increasing population of North Dakota, they just might move up someday.

They definitely need to start working on facilities and move up. They'd be pefect for the Big 12 and probably win the conference championship in short order.

They just lost their head coach. Odds are they're about to fall of a cliff.

App State was a powerhouse at one time too and they're real bad now.

i wonder why NDSU has not been pursued By the MAC. That would even out the divisions and add a quality school.

NDSU in the MAC? Really? Similar to having a relationship with the Potato Bowl in Idaho or playing Idaho St.. Really? They are over +800 miles from every MAC school but one(NIU). They bring no $$$ to the league. We do not benefit from them being in the league.

Go to the MAC only as a few-year steppingstone if that is their only alternative. Otherwise, stay where they are until/if they build bigger facilities. If I were them looking to get an entrance in FBS, I would certainly look to the Sun Belt before the MAC.

Wouldn't the MWC be the most logical conference for them to join? I have a son who has that NCAA football game and he created them in the game and uses them in the MWC. I mean think about it. They're closer to those teams than us.
