One thing would have made this a game an even better classic:

You guys killed me for taking shots at Memphis and hell I went to school there too.. What changed?

MT will be tough at home this year--since we're travel buddies and play essentially the same schedule it will be interesting to see how both teams do this year. All of the MT fans I encountered were great people--I'd trade you guys for Mempiss any day.

Not that I really care, but another shot at Memphis. Where are the Memphis insult police? Smaug, b0ndsj0ns????

I don't remember FN or AT ever saying they'd leave it alone once Memphis was out of the conference. You, on the other hand...

Good game by UAB. Their fans were loud and ... interesting. I hope we bring twice that many to Bartow this spring. If I'm in town I'll be at that game in Birmingham, you can count on it! Go Blue!

Can't stand the dancing man. He doesn't car about MTSU, just himself. He goes to Vandy and UT events around the midstate and does his shtick trying to draw attention to himself.

Yep. I busted him at the '12 Vandy/UT game and called him out for his orange get-up and his UT pom pons. He just kinda growled at me and moved on. I watched that nut Saturday evening as he was doing his deal just to right of our AD and his kids. The look on Chris's face was priceless.

The turkey calls were me. 04-cheers I used to do that at home games for opposing free throws, but it doesn't quite have the same effect as away games.

The band had a hay day with it for the rest of the game. Shouldn't have lit a fire under their butts.

If it's any consultation, my wife was pissed I was doing it.

Haha, I thought it was awesome, and it added some entertainment for the band!
