The Sun Belt is an FBS conference in name only.

The Sun-Belt in reality is not any worse than C-USA or the MAC at this point. Perception wise it's worse but if you look at the actual lineup of schools there's little difference between the on the field accomplishments of C-USA going forward and the Sun-Belt going forward.

This thread should have been called what the league is popularly known as the Belch. With the loss of so many schools to CUSA ,it's remaining member stuck there and wanting desperately to get out and its new additions from the Southland Conference, it is also now referred to as the Southland 2 Conference.
