Stay warm and dry everyone.
Hope I can get my car started tomorrow. Might have to call into work if I can't get it started or stuck by snow.

Before I had a garage, I used to go out and start my car every couple of hours when it got so cold. Just set your alarm clock.

This seems...unnecessary.

Not really. It keeps it from freezing.

You'd have to keep your interior hot constantly to keep your car doors above freezing in sub zero weather. By the time you came back a few hours later your doors would be well below freezing.

It would be a lot easier to put a little silicon grease in the locks and wipe down your door rubber with wax to keep them from sticking. Ask me how I know at -21 this morning.

By "unnecessary", you mean a poster commenting about the functionality of his car and getting to work on a (wait for it...) sports message board, right?

I am disappointed with the weather today. Based on the world ending forcast I thought it would be colder and more snow. We never got close to a blizzard or 50mph winds...or even 40mph gusts.

I think you over exaggerated the forecast on your own. Or you saw some random crazy weather person. Everything I saw was for 4-6" of snow over the weekend (which we got) and the coldest temperatures in 20+ years (which we also got).

All you had to do was drive outside of town into the country, and you'd have seen those blizzard winds. They were still going at 10:00 a.m today.

I got over 12". And that wasn't even the drifts. I had to blow my driveway 3 times yesterday and clear out some big mounds on my driveway this morning.

P.S. You boys need to congratulate me. I used 12", blow, and big mounds in the same post, and there was nothing sexual about it! 02-13-banana

I was actually sweating at the WMU game at one point. No chance of that in THIS crap these past couple days!
