NBA & COLLEGE PLAYERS WHO WERE BETTER AFTER TORN ACL
According to Bleacher Report, these guys returned following rehab, better than ever:
Al Harrington
Al Jefferson
Baron Davis
David West
Jason Smith
Jamal Crawford
Corey Brewer
Bonzi Wells (Ball State)
Kendrick Perkins
Kyle Lowery

In the past, when the surgery wasn't nearly as successful, Bernard King average 32 PPG in the NBA after he tore his ACL.

Robbie Hummel from Purdue was great after his torn ACL and, one of the current leading scorers (19 PPG) in the MAC, David Brown from Western Michigan is recovering from TWO ACL surgeries.

So it can be done and with Dontel's work ethic and positive attitude, I would bet on him coming back to be quite good again.

It's certainly possible he comes back fine. It's also possible he's never the same. People said Rose would come back better than ever too. ooops.

Naw. U can do that. I kinda prefer positive, encouraging outlook. Helps one live longer (and recover faster) and enjoy life more.
