General Justin Fuente Taking his time!
Looking for the replacement for Tim Billings.....Justin Fuente is looking at Ed Oregeron or even Rick Petri as possible replacements depending on what happens with certain jobs and interest.....He would love to Hire Ed Oregeron if he can be had, or even looking at Rick Petri as a possiblity even......Now if Butch Davis doesn't get the Miami job, would he be willing to take a D-line job here with a good price tag attached to it, Maybe not, But Butch Davis is very unlikely to get a head coach job after UNC went sour, and not many options on the table....Yet he wants to coach again and prove himself, and try to salvage whats left of his reputation somewhat.....Wouldn't hurt to try....Maybe offer Asst HC/ Co DC along with D-line, and he then could maybe get another look as HC in time i guess.....Not saying Justin will offer Butch Davis this, But wouldn't hurt to try now would it.....If not he should make a strong push to see if he can land Ed Oregeron depending on how things fall......One Dream, One Team, Memphis....All for one, One for all, All for Memphis....The World Is Ours Memphis....

I know he liked Leon Lett at one point.... And that Leon Lett was a defensive asst and D-line coach for Dallas, who had worked with Vance Vice at ULM....But I know General Justin Fuente will get the right guy for the job.....The World Is Ours Memphis....

RE: General Justin Fuente Taking his time!
I have heard no official news of transfers into the program. I'm assuming this is not a reference to DT Rome and DE Suttles (both from Nebraska) and counted against last year's class.

If this is indeed the case, the names should be official as the Spring Semester begins Jam 16th. The last day to register is Jan 15th.

I'm assuming players would not be from FSU, Auburm, Ball St, or Ark St
