Inexcusable. He could at least get Iverson or Woodson in for a minute or 2 here or there near media timeouts to get some guys extra rest. Too many good players on the team to play 7.

Its true,we were losing anyway and could've played more guys.

The other bad thing about playing 6 or 7 players; is that it makes it easier to match up against us. As an example, subbing King for Dixon completely changes how you have to guard us. The player guarding Dixon either has to guard King or you have to bring in a different player, which changes your lineup and the way you play.

Nichols was overmatched physically and athletically by Ciny's interior guys. Today it didn't matter because the entire team played poorly and we did not adjust at all. It was a humble experience.

I thought with Cinci's slow down style we might see Woodson log a few minutes today.

Their size really caused us trouble inside and we couldn't make a shot from outside. The guards trying to force the action led to turnovers. Definitely would have liked to see a couple of our other big (or at least bigger) guys get some time today.


Meanwhile we all keep waiting for our 3 point shooting to come around.

Just ugly, but we have lots of games to play yet and can turn this around.

3pnt shot is always there against inferior comp and nowehere to be seen when the pressure is on (vs comp). Nothing will change there just like small ball will always be there too.

Too bad the main tourney is 1 and done because the "we'll play better the next time we meet (insert team who manhandled us)" is useless when one L means buh bye....

I don't feel confident at all with Memphis 3 pt shots.. Need to do away with the "4 guard" idea and start using the bigs and feed them inside..

This "Austin was over-matched" talk is hogwash. The kid handles business -- put him in.

Yes, take 6'9" Austin out and put in 6'0" Michael Dixon.

I think we moved to just above the 300th line as "we are the 300th and something best 3 pt. shooting team in the Country out of around 330 Division 1 teams" Wew that's bad.. We need to recruit some dang shooters..

What's puzzling is we shot well from 3 last year, ranked about 30th out of 350 or so.

If you're not shooting well, change your approach. Change to focus of the offense for that particular game. Create options for your players. Change personnel that allows an adjustment to be made and if that doesn't work do something else.

That what a coach is supposed to do. Don't just continue what isn't working because it's supposed to work.

I don't understand it either. For all of the problems we had today; if we hit 6 out of 17 three pointers, it's a much different ballgame. We were wide open on a lot of them.

Too many shots are coming off the dribble and not the pass.

Some guy behind me was beggin' loudly for Woodson the whole 2nd half.. maybe he was on to something?

Yep

For the rest of his life Damien Wilson can talk about the game he didn't play in, but got a foul called on him. Memories were made today folks.
