Bench Dixon
At some point, he needs to realize he has teammates. He's been out of control all day. We cannot win if he plays like that.

RE: Bench Dixon
It falls on the coach to recognize these things and make the adequate adjustments. Yet Dixon is still out there clunking it away.

Meanwhile, Austin sits. Who cares if the kid isn't the fastest or highest jumper.... Austin handles business (those small things that compound into wins). This "match-ups"/"feel" thing is some BS.

Austin needs to get tougher, but he is not going to if you don't get him in the game when it's rough and tumble.

Inexplicable why he didn't see the floor in the second half.

I believe King needs more paying time. I thought we were told he was a rebounder during the preseason. We could use what he has to offer.

Amen brother. He clearly was playing out of control, trying to be a one-man team. How many times did he go 1 on 2 or 1 on 3. Or take a long-range shot when there was no one under the basket. Geez!!!

I don't think King is the answer either, but Dixon certainly isn't, so it's worth a try. Way too selfish.

King to me doesn't look confident enough yet. He needs to be in games when we are winning by 15+ so he can get the confidence. I think Austin needs to be playing more

Out of control is one thing...does he always pout like that? Surprised your coaches left him out there because you guys are filthy stacked at guard to this outsider's eye. Dixon repeatedly took himself out of ongoing plays pleading to refs all second half.

We were talking about it during the game. He'd shoot or have a turnover and turn to plead his case to your bench or Teddy Valentine, whomever was closest despite the play going on. Never seen that from a player at this level so often. It was like every time.

What was the circumstance with him leaving Missouri?

Disagree. He's the only one showing major effort. He got fouled on several drives, one was a major bump that definitely gained an advantage for the defense which is suppose to be a foul. No one else tried to drive but jacked up 3's. Dixon should have been at the line much more.

he doesn't need to be benched. He should just be getting 15-20 minutes a game, not 30

Serious question. Did he transfer of did he get booted for some reason? I thought he played against UC when we beat Missouri in the NCAA a few years back but I could be mistaken.

He's trying to get his is what he's trying to do. He throws up bad shots and when he isn't doing that he's either jumping around the court like he just won the lottery or whining about something. I don't like disliking a Tiger basketball player but I just plain don't like Dixon.
