When Josh does a good job he deserves praise. Having said that, in the big picture, I'm not sure he's the guy for the job here.
Can't please everyone.....the guys that matter/count decide and they think he's doing just fine.
that is not at all true. totally wrong.
The fact is Josh is doing a really good job and is a good coach.
We just have a group of posters who are going to suggest he can't coach and needs to go after every single loss.

There is really nothing at this point that suggests he is a great coach. I think he has the long term potential to be a great coach, but right now I agree he is average, but an elite recruiter.

I don't think there is a poster here who has suggested he is a "great" coach yet.
Just saying he is much better than many here suggest.

RE: Make defensive adjustments Josh!!!
Josh has his best team and clearly has pressure to perform on a level that is higher than previous years. With his hefty salary and mediocre, at best, record against high level competition, he has work to do for "the people that matter" to bless him moving forward. Of course we all hope he performs well enough to gain that blessing but, frankly, the jury is still out. Class guy? absolutely. Great coach? Don't know.
I can tell you with 100% certainty that the "guys that matter" don't know either. Not because they don't like him, because they do. It's because nobody knows at this point. Giving him the benefit of the doubt fades some when you have that kind of money at stake.

An elite recruiter who is an average coach with long term potential to be a great coach. Sounds like a recipe for success to me.

Problem is his elite level of recruiting will suffer if he remains an average Coach in the next couple of years..

I don't know what it is,but we tend to play away from what works sometimes.I want Josh to recognize this quicker and yank whoever is not following the plan.

Average coaches with long term potential only work at the likes of Directional State with aspirations of winning 16 games a year and getting a new gym floor.

Maybe, I don't have a crystal ball that tells me what Josh is going to do. But neither do you and he may end up being HOF coach in the next couple of years....well, maybe not couple of years....but you get my point.

there might actually be a group of posters who come on here after every loss, however, I am not one of those. after the florida game I did not come on here and say anything at all that was negative about josh. I thought he did a very good job in that game. in today's game I feel like he was out coached. it doesn't mean I hate his guts. I should have a voice since I am a long time fan for one, and two, I am a season ticket holder which to me gives me the right to voice my opinion. the fact that you and anyone here has an opinion that differs from mine doesn't bother me in the least bit. you should have your voice even if you aren't a season ticket holder. but I certainly will have my voice about the program I love. josh didn't do a good job today, taking Joe out at crunch time when you are losing isn't good coaching. giving Nichols only 11 min. isn't good coaching either. staying with four guards even if it kills us isn't smart and it proved to kill us. letting guards continue to jack up three's and shot after shot isn't good coaching. 2 of 13, and 2 of 11, and 4 of 12 isn't good and if the coach allows the shooter who isn't hitting shots to continue, that isn't good coaching.

Most of us aren't too rattled by this loss.
If we lose to UL and UCONN, then I'll be rattled. But rattled over just this game? nope
They are a solid team who is going to crack the top 25 in all likelihood. We stunk it up today. No excuses.
