A while back Mick said that Rubles problem is that he shoots with his fingertips with enough space for a baseball between his palm and the ball. He a great shooter in practice but suffers in play when his shot is challenged. Says it's incredibly hard to break a player of this problem. Adam H. had the same issues.

Adam H sprinted at a pace similar to most of our walking paces...shooting wasn't his only problem.

Titus Rubles, though not a scorer, is an asset to any basketball team.

This team looks like a different team than the one who played New Mexico. In that game, they treated the ball like a hot potato and couldn't wait to get the ball out of their hands and pass to someone else. This game everyone is being aggressive, attacking, driving, and willing to shoot.

Barring a huge surge by Memphis State, I think we run our string of holding teams under 70 to 20 games.

The offense has looked really good. Getting good shots and running it through Justin Jackson. His passing out of the post has been really impressive. His post moves have been as well even if he does not always finish. Obviously he is nowhere near this level but almost reminds me of how we used Kenyon. Run it through him and trust his decisionmaking on when to attack and when to pass out.
