GameDay: Rochester
Been wait what two weeks for an EMU men's basketball victory and I think today could just be that day. 02-13-banana

I think the stars in alignment this afternoon. 03-lmfao

We have a NAIA team, at home.

Isn't this the team with a few three point shooters who actually can play?

Apparently few other MAC teams have been doing likewise. CMU hosted Marygrove and Ball State hosted someone or something called 'Oakland City", not to be confused with Bader's team out in Rochester, MI.

RE: GameDay: Rochester
Rochester gave us some trouble last year. They usually have pretty good teams. Hopefully our guys come to play. We don't want to pull a "Miami" and lose to a non-D1 opponent.

I highly doubt that happens though. After two straight blowout losses, our guys have no reason to be big-headed. In fact, they should be itching to blow someone out. I'm guessing we win by 20 or 25. In that range.

I would not consider 20 points loses to Duke, Kentucky, and Syracuse a blowout.

Tomato, tomahto. They all won comfortably. That's the point. It's humbling for an athlete to lose by a lot.

I'm posting from memory:

IF I remember correctly, Rochester had played say a half dozen or more games and we were playing our 1st or 2nd (non-exhibition) games.

I remember thinking that they were in mid-season forum and we were not.

We should be in mid-season form now.

They scored a ton of points inside. Drew Maynard, the Oakland transfer, had like 10 dunks. We won by double digits, but it wasn't pretty.

EMU looking very sharp shooting.

They look relaxed playing against a soft opponent.

Should have added that shooting is good, but NOT behind the arc.

Who is the possible transfer player sitting at the end of the bench next to Price?

Are you scooping us? Lol.

You just sent Dennis to Google heaven.

It is my understanding that there were no personnel changes at mid-year (e.g., transfers in or out).

This team looked like a well oiled machine.

The only problem is lack of a Bader-like player who is a flat out shooter. It is my understanding that Price is that type of player (but he obviously won't be eligible until next season).

Maybe next season we get less up front (e.g., Bryant, Harrison, etc.) but better perimeter shooting.

I'm making plans to go to CLE for both the men's and women's tourneys.

This could be a real fun year for EMU hoops. 02-13-banana
