Nope, you didn't beat FSU. Good year though considering all the injuries, etc.

It's the system... If South Carolina doesn't like it they can leave the SEC and beat up the B1G or the Coastal Division of the ACC.

They are also the Capital One Bowl Champions. That's a pretty good year.

They shouldn't have lost to a terrible Tennessee team.

Clemson was a better team than USC take the six turnovers away .

The BCS is over and the GameCocks have to be the best program never to play a BCS game .

I live in SC and pull for the gamecocks so saying Clemson was better doesn't bother me . The Gamecocks won and Taj and Sammy are gone sucks for Clemson. Clemson could beat Auburn so could USC .

USC is definitely better than Clemson

Clemson had 6 turnoves but three came at the very end of the game when South Carolina already had the lead. I believe South Carolina had the lead the entire game.

South Carolina definitely deserves a Top 10 ranking. I have no problem with the fact that the SEC will have 5 Top 15 teams (I think T A&M should be 16-20), but I always thought that there wasn't real separation at the top between the best of other conferences and those 5 teams.

Just because you play in a tough conference doesn't make you the best team.

I pull for the Gamecocks and am happy we won 11 games .
I think we deserved to be in a BCS game over Clemson.

That said our defense was inconsistent Wisconsin had 290 rushing yards against us. The game was a missed field goal difference until the whiskey QB got hurt .I expected the defense to be better and at times it was dominant .

Our defense really come on the last half of the season. Whammy is great at half time adjustments, remember we didn't give up one touchdown to Wisconsin in the second half

South Carolina is a top 5 team, and should have made a BCS bowl game IMHO.

Only 2 per conference and they didn't win their division, plus we all know that Bama would get the benefit of the doubt.

This.

I get so sick of people claiming they should get special treatment because of their schedule. No one is stopping any SEC team from leaving for the AAC. Honestly, if you ask me Ole Miss and Miss State would fit in much better in a weaker conference. They would be able to win more frequently and SEC teams would have no problem of scheduling them in OOC.

6 turnovers= LOL

That's like saying Bama minus 7 sacks and 4 turnovers would have beaten Oklahoma... am I right?

The problem is that the SEC can only put 2 in the BCS. Alabama was going to be pick number 2 this year. USC lost twice, and Alabama and Auburn only lost once this year. So they got the BCS bids.

Great season for USC. But man, how did they lose to Tennessee??
