Why coach's wives should stay off Twitter
It starts with Jennifer Cross tweeting this to John Brady
@jenniferhcross: I hope when we travel to Arkansas State, we drill them by 30, and my husband uses EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HIS TIMEOUTS.
Brady responds thusly
Coach John Brady @JohnBrady_Coach 2h
@ArkSt_com @ChrisHudgison @jenniferhcross what was that about? Baffled.
Then after she gets retweeted by every ASU fan and media type with use of a twitter page...someone realizes they made a mistake
Jennifer Cross @jenniferhcross 2h
@azredbirds052 @ArkSt_com I had a good record until tonight dangit! First, and last, stupid tweet...good grief...
And so we get this response...
@JohnBrady_Coach @ASUJeffReed Coach, MY APOLOGIES. You guys played great. I should've NEVER tweeted it. It was my 1st, & last, stupid tweet.
And that ladies and gents is why you don't say stupid things on Twitter...

No, with his team up by over twenty and less than three minutes left, he used three timeouts in back-to-back-to-back possessions after UTA would make a shot. It wasn't necessary as there was no defensive meltdown or mental mistake. UTA, unlike previous parts of the half, actually made a bucket.

There are rules when you can use your timeouts and when you can't?

One of those was a substitution timeout. The other came after you guys had scored something like 9 straight points in 30 seconds using a full court press against our walk-ons. Brady even said in pre game he didn't want to take that timeout...but he couldn't allow our backups to not have an opportunity to learn what they were doing wrong.
The 3rd timeout was a media timeout. It was sandwiched between the other two timeouts. We don't have any control over those things.

Am I the only one that doesn't take the opponent coaches wife's pregame smack talk seriously? People on twitter are so sensitive.

Well, tell your coach try not to get his a$$ kicked next time. When did athletics become a game for sissies. This is D1 basketball not bitty ball at city park. This isn't D1 versus a church group, you are a conference opponent, get over it.

Hey, at least she put her name on it and isn't going by gsu95, Godzilla, chiefsfan or WinstonTheWolf.
But yeah. Social media does make a lot of people look like asses.

I was already to go to the play by play and say how wrong, but I remembered wrong. An example that just because someone says they were there, doesn't mean what they say is accurate.
