Cincy defensive coaching changes
I got permission from Jr to post because I didn't want a flame war to start. What happened?

Art was the guy he always wanted at Tech but had to wait until season 3 to get him. Took a look back and he doesn't keep DC's around very long. IIRC, Cincy had the 9th best defense.

Word is that the decision was made on both these coaches for recruiting reasons. Defensively, UC wants more defensive coaches with Midwest recruiting ties who can increase our recruiting in the area.

As for UC's firing of the DC....as stated, Tubs wants better recruiting and he needs someone with ties more in UC's area.
