I think he did but then Rutgers can probably pay more than Miami.

I know Golden went to PSU, but I can't imagine him willingly inheriting another trainwreck. Who knows?

Rutgers athletics department is losing $20MM (up to $28MM) annually, including raiding student fees funds. The B1G money will help, but they won't get a full share for about 5-7 years (if I recall). Even then, it remains questionable whether this will be sufficient to stop losing money in the athletics department. Rutgers is NOT a destination job and in BCS level ranks is not really a stepping stone job, either. A coach coming from a lower division may be enticed.
