Cincinnati fires their DC along with another assistant
Tubs went through 3 different DCs and 3 different schemes in 3 years at Tech along a revolving door of defensive assistants.

After having a defense that ranked in the 100s every year at Tech besides the last I guess the 9th ranked defense at Cincy just wasn't cutting it. (That is unless this is like the offense staff at Tech who got tired of the screaming matches and micromanagement and finally all took a worse job to leave)

Man, you have a serious man-crush on Tuberville to be stalking him like this.

Is this you, with Tommy Tuberville?

It is pathetic... seriously, he's been gone for almost 13 months now. Everyone in Lubbock hated the guy supposedly... so let it go. You have the coach you wanted.

You all are just now getting a real taste for the Tech Tards. They are a different bunch to say the least.

At least UH has one of the best coaches in the country who has also proven to be extremely loyal.

He did fire them, and the reports from the local rags state it is completely recruiting related (as in they didn't perform). Fine with me... if you can't recruit, find someone who can do that as well as coach.

Really? Is that the best you've got? I expect better smack from my cousin Cassie, who's a Tech grad. Besides, it's not like you couldn't beat Baylor. Oh, wait. 03-shhhh

Damn, you Tech fans spend more time talking and watching UC football than TTU football!

Glad to see that UC has finally broken out of the local media market!

At least if you don't like who he picks to replace them you can always just wait until next year.

I would need to figure out what channel ESPN news is to watch anyone in the AAC unfortunately.

Seriously... why are you here? Do you have nothing else to do in your pathetic life than to troll another conference and other fan bases? Shouldn't you be talking about your basketball season now? Oh wait... I forgot, Tech always gets wrecked in basketball.

Please come back the next time that Tech does something of note in a sport besides hire a guy who verbally abused and choked players after he was fired.

Time for the moderators to send this butt hurt wrecked tech fan on the way.

Don't sweat it, Vin-goat-lover... Maybe you'll get cable out there in Lubbock next year and then you'll get ESPN and ESPNews. Just trust me on this, it's amazing when you don't have to worry about TV airial antennas and get more than three channels.

You'll love it!

I do know I get ESPN News. I'm pretty sure it's just situated somewhere between the 24/7 cat olympics channel and all the foreign language channels.

You know, it just occurred to me... both the "beloved" coaches at Tech (Bob Knight/Mike Leach) are well known for their over the top behavior. I don't even dislike Leach, I actually think he's a great coach. Knight, however, is a first class a-hole. He and the TT fan base really seem to be made for 1 another.

You could have chosen any part of Tech basketball to make fun of and you went with the hall of fame coach that lead us to the tournament 4 times in 6 years including a sweet sixteen.

Come on now it's so easy. I'm sure you can do better. Here I'll even start you off.

I am making fun of the fact that you guys actually had the nerve to hire the guy who was fired for physically abusing players, then had your football coach fired for the same reason. Hilarious. Must be something in the water in Lubbock. Time for you to move along.
