Biggest C-USA Wins of 2013?
What were the top C-USA football victories of the 2013 season?
Here my list:
1. Marshall over Maryland in the Military Bowl (Bowl win over the ACC)
2. North Texas over UNLV in the HOD Bowl (Bowl win over MWC)
3. ECU over Ohio in the Beef O'Brady's Bowl (Bowl win over MAC)
4. ECU over North Carolina (N. Carolina of the ACC won the Belk Bowl)
5. Rice over Marshall (C-USA Title Game)
6. North Texas over Ball State (Ball St. finished 10-2, will play in the Go Daddy Bowl)
7. Marshall over ECU (No one saw that beat down coming)
8. ECU over NC State (win over the ACC)
9. Rice over Kansas (win over the Big 12)
10. North Texas over Rice (only conference loss for Rice)

So UNT beating what's historically one of the worst college football programs of all time ranks higher than a P5 win over an in-state rival that won a bowl game.

I think North Carolina was the best team to fall to a CUSA team so I would probably rank that game #1.

The North Texas win over UNLV shouldn't be top 10. Great for the program and good for the conference but I don't classify as a big win.

Southern Miss over UAB to end "The Streak" has to be on there somewhere and probably number one if you're a USM fan.

I also saw the Marshall beatdown of ECU coming. I even told SJ at every opportunity that we would crush them at home. You can check my post history.

I would consider that in my top 10.

Of course the win over UNLV is top 10. It was a dominant win over the MWC. It saved C-USA from posting a losing bowl record, and left the MWC at 3-3 too. If C-USA lost its last 3 bowls and finished 2-4 we would never hear the end of it.

I'd put the UNC beat down over that game any day of the week.

It's a bowl win, so it's unquestionably top 5 just on that alone. And it's a win over a MWC team, a conference universally perceived as superior to C-USA.
There is certainly a case to rank UNT's win over Ball State higher than the O.P. has it, considering they are the highest-ranked OOC opponent (#30) a C-USA team has beaten all season, and by a long shot. I might give ECU over UNC a slight edge (even though they're only ranked #61), though, because of the perception of the ACC and because of what that win means in their state.

Beating UNLV isn't like beating a bottom tier P5 team like Kentucky or Washington State. UNLV last season above .500 season was 2000. I'm happy for your program but I'll continue to have to disagree with you on this.

History? lol
More players in NFL? Nope.

Higher ranking this year? Nope. And this ranking is before we beat Maryland.

Head-to-head this year? Nope.

Conference MVP? lol. Scoreboard. Cato owns Carden. 2 of 3. Actually 2-0 since Cato was injured in Greenville last year.
Using your own logic, I guess that means that Rice's quarterback is better than Cato seeing as how he owned y'all in Houston?
In truth, the beating that Rice put on Marshall was worse than our loss to you. Rice is not a football power and is not as good as their record states. Otherwise, the Liberty bowl would have at least been competitive.

So none of our other 11 games mattered? Beating 2 in-state P5 rivals doesn't matter? ok.

Let's be honest, beating NC State is about as impressive as our win over Gardner Webb. NCST was putrid this year.
