That is Oklahoma Football
and when Oklahoma football shows up, no one in the country can beat us.

Good effort Alabama. I still think Oklahoma and Alabama are the two best overall programs of all time.

Two game notes:

1. Trevor Knight is a Stud
2. I hope all the morons in the media are enjoying their big plate of crow this evening.

Congrats. Your team really showed up to play.. made for a very entertaining game. Normally 'Bama football is boring to watch (except the Iron bowl) if you're not a Tide fan.

amazing when Oklahoma is the dog how well they play. Now if they could figure out how to do it all the time and win another title.

Badass game. That Oklahoma team is impressive. I absolutely believe they are deserving of being in the top 5 in the final rankings. I don't think anyone in the country would want to play them considering how they have played in their last two games against very strong competition.

I would bet on Oklahoma to beat Florida State if they played each other in the championship after their two "semifinal" games.

That would be something nobody saw coming. Wonder where OU will finish.

Spartans finish #2. If Ohio State beats Clemson and Florida State beats Auburn then The Big Ten finishes with 2 of the #3 ranked teams in the country.

RE: That is Oklahoma Football
First off congrats. My team will probably never play in the Sugar Bowl.

I do agree about OU and Bama being two OF the best programs but im sure USC, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, LSU and Florida have something to say about sharing that stage.

1. Your QB was amazing, possibly the second coming of Sam Bradford.
2. I hate to back the media but in recent years OU has not shown up to these big games.

Regardless I was pulling for Oklahoma all game, glad they won Congrats!

Oregon may have trouble getting the votes to pass South Carolina but Oklahoma should have no problem. If Oklahoma State can do their instate rivals a favor by beating Missouri in the Cotton Bowl then I do believe it is a sure thing that Oklahoma gets into the top 5.

I think Michigan St finishes 2nd if FSU wins. If Auburn wins, I think FSU finishes 2nd and MSU 3rd.

If Ohio St loses tomorrow I think Oklahoma finishes 5th.

Not if they watched the OU/Baylor or OU/Texas game. There are 13 games.

I think Oklahoma would be behind FSU, Auburn, Mich St and South Carolina. I think it'll be either Ohio St or Oklahoma for the 5th slot. Would also have Clemson in there if Clemson beats Ohio St.

Oklahoma doesn't need Ohio State to lose. They are only two spots behind South Carolina. Oklahoma's win is a much bigger win than South Carolina's. They will jump SC. If Missouri loses to Oklahoma State then Oklahoma jumps them too. If Auburn loses then I think Oklahoma jumps them too and obviously they jump Alabama. That has them in the top 5 right there.

I think they do... for one, remember it's the AP and Coaches polls. NOT the BCS ratings...
AP-
South Carolina was 3 spots and 221 votes ahead
coaches-
South Carolina was 3 spots and 275 votes ahead

Auburn won't fall behind Oklahoma. Just won't happen. Voters give the championship game loser a lot of respect.

FSU, Auburn, Mich St will be the top 3 in some order. 4 likely is South Carolina, and 5/6 is two of Ohio St, Oklahoma, or Clemson.

With Auburn, it really depends upon how they lose IF they lose. If they show up strong then yeah they likely stay in the top 5. If they get pummeled then who knows. Voters can be swayed by that, especially after the emotional win of Oklahoma over Alabama. Oklahoma looked much stronger against Alabama than Auburn did.

I just don't agree with you on South Carolina considering a win versus Wisconsin in comparison to a win over Alabama and what that does for the two winning teams. We will see.
