We took care of business. Terrific ASUN debut for AJ with 19 pts., 10 boards, and 3 steals.

I am glad we hung on in that nail bitter. I think listening to those to announcers was almost has enjoyable as the game. I just wish I could have watched the same game they did, it sounded much more interesting then the one I saw.

Those guys must have went to the Tariq Aziz school of announcers. As bad as Kennesaw's BB team was, they were worse. Yet they were entertaining in a weird kind of way.

I don't get the benefit of ETSU streaming all games without a subscription cost. It's an attendance killer. Why should the most loyal of ETSU fans pay to go in person when they can crank up their viewing device and watch for free. ETSU really needs to look at what they are doing. Perhaps Sander should release in recent the rational for his policy. It seems stupid to me...especially with ETSU attendance in the dumpster in recent years. The attendance problem could be attributed to the Murry affect....I don't know.

The games are on (for the most part) A-Sun TV, not sure how much of choice ETSU has in the matter.
But even so the vast majority of ETSU Alumni don't live close enough to attend games (and probably didn't attend games when they went to school anyway) but it is a good way for those who are interested in keeping up with the team, "seeing" them and that could lead to the donating money. People would be more inclined to send money for a product that can watch not just read about. It might also influence some of them to come back and watch a game in person if the team is good enough to generate interest.

I'm a season ticket holder, yet, I'm all over the world at any given time. I for one am thankful to be able to watch the games from a hotel room.

But you are not the typical fan- I do think that this online viewing for free thing is very stupid for attendance purposes. Its probably great for big programs that sell out games anyway. For mid-majors, I see more problems than benefits.

I would bet the vast majority of people who watch online are people who can't make it to the game, most likely because they don't live in the area. If someone cares enough to watch the game on the computer they are probably going to care enough to go watch it live in most cases. Like I said before I think it is nice that it lets Alumni keep in touch with and follow the school.

I like being able to watch most of the games online for free and if I lived in the area I would have season tickets. Anyway, unless I'm wrong I don't think the Socon has anything like asun.tv, so once we start playing in the Socon there wont be anymore free online games.

I have no problem paying 10-15 bucks a month for the streaming service. I'm surprised it's free. I really doubt it hurt attendance much. How many people watch an ETSU game on ASUN.tv anyway? Maybe 100?

If Bartow is making decisions based on productivity, I don't see how he can keep Banks on the bench. Banks capitalized 10 minutes today with 6 points. I'd like to see him at least 15 mpg going forward.

Playing him and Devin. He just has to realize the advantages of playing the long bench. I wish he would get off his desire to play 7 or 8 men only. We are a better team using all our players instead the short bench.
