Did the threat of master briles possibly leaving for the 40 acres cause this monumental loss?

Did the letdown of finally winning the Big 12 and forced to play a mid-major force this meltdown?

Regardless, I loved it. I have a feeling Baylor fans will be very quiet while they hope and pray Art stays. If he leaves, baylor is an afterthought in Texas HS recruiting.

Chirp chirp

I guess what few fans they have are in toilet mode tonight. The tarp will live on at new 45K seat baylor stadium after this monumental beatdown.

Edit--- UH fans think I only pick on them. I laugh at any school in Texas not named Texas or Texas Tech.

Good one. It took a monumental failure coaching change by Tech to screw up 15 straight wins. I have a feeling that score will be reversed in the near future. Pine box ran off and we hired one of own.

Gloating from a Tech fan over a better team than Tech losing in a better bowl than they were in?

That's pretty pathetic.

RE: Baylor
A lot of people are trying to put even more asterisks on both Baylor and UCF than they did before this game. But this still doesn't remove the realities of this season, as well as the last few for both.

UCF beat 2 top 10 teams this year, and nearly beat a 3rd. Sure, UCF doesn't blow out teams that it allegedly should. It just get W's. But UCF also hasn't been blown out since 2009. And that has included a great number of P5 and ranked team contests.

UCF plays to win ... now by how much or to keep the Vegas oddmakers happy. In fact, if I was in Vegas, I would have started hating UCF years ago. 03-wink

Yeah in Texas ridiculing our rivals means nothing especially on the net. Ridiculing your rival in Bama gets you shot.

I'm happy not getting shot

NO. UCF caused this loss. Just like they beat Penn State & Louisville and nearly beat SC, too.

You Big 12 nuts need to take a chill pill.

UCF won that game. You didn't watch it. Otherwise, you wouldn't be spouting this crap.

...or maybe you are, and you're insecure about the champ getting taken to school.

Just admit that the B12's best football program got dominated by an American school. That was basically a home game for Baylor.... If both schools played again, Baylor would lose. OSU exposed Baylor: Play physical football and it will slowly wilt—Baylor totally faded in the second half. When TT's QB gets more experience, it will be similar to Baylor but not better. However, TT needs to get more physical on offense and defense to be the better program....

Wasn't a great surprise. Baylor's defense was suspect and they don't have a history in big bowl games (or bowl games period). Plus they were likely to underestimate UCF. For good reason. UCF seemed to play to the level of their competition and were truly awful in some of their wins.

I would say folks at Baylor should be just as worried about those folks up in Washington D.C. thinking that there would be no one better tuned to getting RG III turned around than his past coach from Baylor. Briles to Washington? More likely than Texas?

Agree great win for UCF and the AAC. I don't care if some of their wins were by a slim margin as good teams find a way to get the "w." UCF was no fluke this year and proved they belong with the win against the Bears.

What the hell makes you think Tech is a major, sucking On momma UT mammary glands and whining all the time like a newborn asking for more.

Keep hoping troll as we make it 4 in a row over you next fall.

It may have played a part but ether way 17 penalties, 2 fumbled snaps, a missed fg, and a bad int won't win you games. Wish we had played better but it happened.

UCF played well, we didn't. Congrats to them.

Less likely than Saban leaving to coach Idaho and running the air raid.

Why? The Redskins picked RGIII over the head coach. Obviously they are all in for RGIII. Who else could better turn it around for him in DC than Briles?
