Don't get me wrong, I don't like UCF... but you're in our family, damn it. Good job, Knights!

Not only did UCF beat Penn State on the road and play South Carolina down to the wire, but last night they trounced the heavily-favored Big 12 champion in the Fiesta Bowl. The fact that UCF trailed in the 4th quarter 5 times in conference play would lead fair and logical minds to conclude that AAC football is a lot better than generally regarded. Of course, fair and logical are oxymorons in big-time college football.

Congratulations, Knights and THANKS (we NEEDED that).

From one UCF fan, props to the AAC. Without so many close competitive games we would not have been as prepared to take down Baylor in the Fiesta. The AAC prepared UCF for the win last knight! Without the AAC and the weekly competition that the members brought UCF might not have been victorious. So Props go out to each and everyone of our conference mates. Go Knights! Go AAC! Charge On!

It certainly helped after we had three turnovers in a row. I think a lot of teams would have crumbled at that point, but the defense kept playing disciplined ball and the offense got back on track.

I think this sentiment is a good reason why the Big East had such an excellent post season record. Parity is a good way to weed out those that don't take every advantage to succeed. It shows when a "superior" team comes knocking.
