Thumbs down to Baylor on their uniforms. Love, love, love black & gold, but people, if your colors are green & gold, black & gold makes no sense. Do the Spurs ever wear Green & silver? Do the Packers ever wear blue & yellow? Changing uniforms for bowl games is one thing, but going so far as to change the colors in lieu of tradition means you're trying too hard to make a statement. The worst part of it all is that they're actually wearing the school colors of their opponents! Gotta wonder what the hell they were thinking.

They played well. I just hate them. I also hold it against Bortles that he won freshman of the year over Cato, and really shouldn't have. Kind of like Carden winning MVP this year.

Didn't root for them and I didn't root against them. I'm glad to see a victory by the gang of five over the pack of five, though.

Certainly jealous, but I found myself rooting for UCF. That was basically a team built under C*USA that beat the Big 12 champ. It kills me that UAB, USM, Marshall, UTEP, and Rice got left out in the cold.

Yep, that's a throwback. The helmet is brown to appear leather. GB wore blue and yellow in the 20's when the team was founded. They began mixing in green and yellow, and blue was completely gone by 1950. They haven't changed since '59 when Lombardi settled on the iconic green jerseys we see today.

Ahhh okay. Throwback explains it. Never knew they went from blue to green. Interesting. Gracias for the info.

The AAC may not get an auto-bid next year, but this definitely gives the conference the edge for next season. This gives the AAC respect, while NIU and Fresno showed that they were paper tigers.
