This girl had to do something over the top to get rid of her Hanna Montana persona. She's just following the Madonna business model. Any publicity is good publicity. It's not as if she's marketing herself to a bunch of middle aged men. It may appear stupid to us, but she's going to be stupid rich, and when she's 40 and worth a billion I doubt she looks back on her current behavior and regrets it.

My amazement is at the people that like her, I don't blame, chastise, or anything else her one bit. She's a no talent wonder who has people liking her for some reason, it's an indictment of our society more than anything, see: "pet rock reference".

The one difference with Madonna is that she could actually sing and write songs a little. Rodman could even play basketball. This girl is more like a Kardashian than anything, which just is confounding. But then, so are the Kardashians so I shouldn't be surprised.

She works hard at what she does.

If you get on some of her sites you'll see she has done hundreds of fashion shots and "appearances. Some of the fashion she models is actually quite conservative and traditional.

I agree the recent months are over the top, maybe tasteless to some, self serving; but she has a very large body of work given her age, has made a transition successfully, and has a long life in front of her to trend back towards mainstream.

She would be well served to keep her tougue in her mouth, that thing is just nasty and a funny color to boot.

Probably not but Billy Ray could probably leverage T Mobile or similar if he had any interest in it.

T Mobile is likely to be the only carrier left to take on Verizon after another round of murders and executions ERRR mergers and acquisitions. So that would be a good call on his part.

T Mobile may he history soon. Sprint is again looking at acquiring them.

People call Miley shocking, but she is anything but. Quite predictable actually, especially for a former teeny bopper begging to be taken seriously as an "adult." She's the latest in a long line of vapid pop stars who's very short on talent, but stages wild, outrageous and oversexualized antics to get attention. And, like it or not, it largely works. Her transformation, or whatever, looks especially awkward and forced: the facial expressions, "ghetto" slang, outfits, and so on.

Say what you will about Justin Timerberlake, but here's a guy who started as a Disney kid and was in an easily mocked boy band, yet somehow progressed into a respected musician and actor without resorting to tabloid ploys (unless you count the Superbowl 'wardrobe malfunction' as one).

Big big business. Related to media revenue model. Notice, they put a teaser header with a picture of the starlet in a bikini, says "Mylie strap slips Hawaian Vacation..." You click, bingo a banner ad, revenue streams flow. It is everywhere. They just want you to click. They will say or show anything that stimulates a click. No substance to it.
