I know today's outcome wasn't what you wanted, but I want to congratulate you guys on a great year. Winning a conference title is never easy in any division...I've enjoyed visiting this board over the past few weeks. Your fan base is a class act and I will be rooting for your team moving forward...Hopefully the next time we meet, it will be on the diamond with a national championship on the line...Hail State and Happy New Year!

Yes that would be great, or at least at the Minute Maid or other tourney. Have we played MSU there?

All of the Mississippi State fans I met were just incredibly friendly and nice to be around. Having grown up (partially) in Knoxville, I was expecting a lot of SEC snobbery, but I heard nothing but respect from everyone I talked to. Constant ESPN limelight has made many large state school fanbases become so entitled. This was a game between two fairly humble fanbases, and it was a lot more enjoyable for it, methinks.

Agree - all the Miss State fans I ran into were great. Hope you guys go all the way next year. You really have some unbelievable talent (and coaching).

+1...and most were very respectful of their comments with regards to Rice. Also, not yet mentioned, we owe the vast MSU fan base of big thank you for not initiating the S-E-C chant throughout the 4th quarter.

You won't find a lot of SEC snobbery within the our fan base, especially considering MSU and Alabama are closer to each other than any other two schools in the SEC...We are used to fighting for any bit of recognition we can get!
