Speaking of apologies, MTSU released a statement today apologizing for the actions of their players yesterday. Hope they enjoyed their only trip to the Armed Forces Bowl in program history.

You should be careful or people are going to think we enjoy watching CUSA teams lose or something...

Then there was the Rice fan who ranted over there about how mickey mouse C-USA is and that Rice was going to dump the conference at the first opportunity available because they deserved better....yada yada yada.

I imagine that clown is kinda scarce tonight.

Don't want to turn this into another realignment thread but seriously, what is beneficial about a league that: loses ECU, Tulsa and Tulane; had a TV contract with hardly any viewers; costs a team entry/exit fees; and has inferior football. With at least 3 bowl tie I s starting next year. I am content with the SBC

I think Clinton was in office the last time Arkansas State lost to North Texas State on the football field.

Kinda like POF meet kettle with ULLs loss to a putrid Arkansas team. Can someone enlighten me on this boards obsession with cusa? We weren't even better than them in football this year...

The average college football recruit was 8 years old the last time UNT beat ASU in football. Conveniently...that was also the last Mean Green Conference title.

SBC teams lost a grand total of one game against a CUSA team this year, and was ranked higher by every single conference power ranking.
