Whomever it is, he is most likely still working, or we'd be hearing more.

RE: Texas
Isn't this they type of job Lane Kiffen should get? Every time he F's up, he gets promoted to the next bigger opportunity. And he can bring the old man along to run the defense!

My money is on Charlie Strong.

Outside the box picks: Pete Carroll or Rich Rodriguez.

Rich Rod is a NO, that community would contract hire those Bama guys that set Price up faster than you could say Ruphie.

I think he is a guy that would translate well to the rich players. Down to earth, uses motivation but not corny and he has been coaching smart kids and winning at a place that will not let in the normal football dummy. His name is out there for a ton of jobs. If he doesn't leave this year he never will by choice 8-4 at vandy is equivalent to a NC at SCum. He will struggle to ever top that. CUTLER only won 6 games his se nior year if memory serves.

You have to admit it doesn't take much to set up Price... he was the wrong hire for that time at bama.

RE: Texas
I said that to a Price guy at the time (you MAY know whom I am talking about). He thought that he's be fine. Pfffffft.

Price would have won there I think, but he wouldn't have been accepted, ever. Too big of a head. Literally. Unreal, thing is huge. I doubt he ever had a hat on.

I think Franklin lands a big college job soon. But NFL doesn't seem to be his style to me. But who really knows.

FBscoop is now reporting Texas would like to meet Dantonio.

Penn state is all set up for Shiano if Obrien leaves. They want a guy that will never leave (like the one the pushed out) anr Shiano is not getting another nfl job after TB disaster.

I'll bet they would.

Rest of Big Ten would like that too, especially Wal-nereenies.

I would love to see it. Just show MSU once again they are not a destination job. They are a stepping stone just like tha MAC.
