Lions have contacted Kelly according to some reports. I would not be shocked. He did interview last year with the eagles.

When has the Ford family ever made a good decision when it comes to hiring for the Lions?

They could throw a big ass contact at BK. I think he takes it.

According to a friend of mine, life-long Lions fan, whose Dad and he had season tickets until a few years ago - the team will not succeed until Mr. Ford (William Clay) passes away and turns control over to Bill Jr.

I'm not sure that would do it either, but couldn't do any worse.

If WC ran the family business Ford would be managed by Mazda instead of the other way around (for the better part of 20 years, now ended).

I said when Lions hired Bobby Ross - who had won share of NC at Georgia Tech and then taken Chargers to Super Bowl - if he couldn't get it done in Detroit, it couldn't be done.

So far at least, I'm still right.

Yeah, I was hopeful when Ross came to town. Only to have him just get sucked into the vortex that is the Detroit Lions.

Edit: Reports are that big name coaches are calling the Lions?!? HUH?
