Have used Design Jewelers in Bartlett for years. On Kirby Whitten just north of Stage on the left. You have to be careful of some places. Have heard stories of some jewelers swapping stones during repairs. Design does excellent work.

RE: need a place for jewelry repair
There is a guy that works in king furs on poplar and perkins. He has been doing custom jewelry and jewelry repair for at least 30 years. I know for a fact that he is VERY trustworthy. I just asked him how long a repair would take, and he said it would take a few days if he has everything he needs. I'll bet his price will be very reasonable. King furs main # is 901-767-5464. His name is Mark Sams. You might be able to reach him at 901-683-8902.

Dennis LeClear has been my go-to, trustworthy guy for years. 324-9992. He is on Poplar near Highland. He is very reasonable, super nice, and specializes in old jewelry. He has done a lot of repair work for me.

Glad to hear ! He is a great guy. Honest and friendly, and he don't mess around. He has skills. He did my wife's ring as well as mine. It looks awesome and very reasonable price. He's done some work for some friends of mine as well, and they have been very happy. If i ever need any repairs or custom work, i go to him.

I took my mom there recently and took away that he's honest and fair. Bonus that his employees seemed happy. I'd definitely go back.

I guess I can add my name on the Weimer bandwagon. I've had several repairs from major to minor and they've never disappointed.

Dennis is a personal friend of mine. You will not find a more honest, trustworthy jeweler. I highly recommend you use him.

Nubar Yacoubian in the west side of the 4646 Poplar building, behind the Relax The Back store. I've been going to him for years for repairs and to have custom pieces made. He's honest and talented. 682-7070.

Do NOT confuse him with the larger Yacoubian Jewelers facing Poplar a couple of blocks away.
