Quote:3. The schedule hasn't been too tough, but Toledo is undefeated. Any chance the Rockets leave Allen Fieldhouse with an unblemished record?
Katz: Kansas has quite a week with the undefeated Rockets and then hosting one of the least-discussed Top 25 teams in the country in San Diego State. Toledo hasn't yet faced the defensive challenges they'll be forced to deal with Monday. The Rockets may end up being the best in the MAC (still debatable), but they won't be in the Top 25 since it's highly unlikely they'll get out of Phog Allen with a win.
O'Neil: On a neutral court in March, I'd fear the Rockets. At Allen in December? Tall ticket. No disrespect to Toledo, which is a good, legit team and mid-major threat, but beating Kansas at home is too much to ask.
Brown: The Rockets have just the right blend of veterans that will make a second-round opponent quiver in the NCAA tournament. While their schedule isn't impressive, you've got to respect the fact that they've already won four true road games. But ultimately, they don't defend well enough to pull off an upset at Kansas. There's always a chance in college basketball, but in this case it's a slim one.

Can't disagree with anything they said. I'm just hoping for UT to keep it close for first 30 minutes. If they do that, anything can happen in the last 10.

Will sadly miss the Miami game as my daughter for Xmas bought tickets to see Wicked in Providence. Hopefully no one gets hurt and get some of the freshman some playing time. Hoping for the home team win.

Ohio was only up 4 at the half over the Longwood Lancers. They've run it up to 20 at the under 12 in the second half.
Toledo down 16-15 to some team from Kansas under 12 left 1st half.
Ball State down 5 to James Madison also under 12 1st half.

Rockets hanging tough early. Kansas is very tall and very athletic, I think it is going to be a long night for the Rockets.

A lot of people don't know about ESPN 14, a channel that plays other stuff for just these occasions. Wicked is Event 96 and your tickets get you free access so you can follow along on your Iphone while you are at the game.

Tell me about it. The UT radio broadcast was about 5 seconds ahead of ESPN3. Woudla been perfect if they lined up.

Rockets down 9, multiple opportunities to cut it deeper but failed, KU bumped it to 11, then the Rockets cut it to 8.
