Don't be naive. There wasn't a Vegas line on the UNO game. However, if you want to bet, you can find a line for anything if you try hard enough. That being said, I don't think there was anything suspicious going on there.

We'll see about the rest of the year. The assumption right now is that we're not going too good. I hope that's wrong.

I saw that, too, but like you said, rules are rules and these knuckleheads should have known better. Someone on the Den posted that this could have possibly happened on their trip to Washington when they had a layover in Vegas. If that's the case, this will go down as one of the dumbest "bucket list" things, ever.

Damn I hate Asher Wildman.

There.... Got it off my chest.... Again.

For the non-El Paso folks, he is local sportscaster who looks like Pippi Longstocking.

You're right, if you put in the work you probably could. Moore and Crosgile didn't play that game, and Ragland had a career high that night.

in the end, rules are rules and the kids knew what they were risking by betting. There is no excuse.

But I have to admit I was expecting to read about the Floyd-seeking mobs carrying torches and pitchforks.

I'm surprised Gregg Doyel hasn't accused Floyd of being the bookie yet.

Moore and Crosgile were suspended for that game. Ragland had his best game of the year: 6 of 10 from the field, 3 of 7 on 3-pointers, 4 of 5 from the line, zero turnovers.

I'm actually surprised we haven't seen more Miners fans say that the punishment was too harsh. With the exception of one poster on MinerDigs, I think the majority of us--while disheartened that we lost our best player--are glad to have those knuckleheads off the team. Moore was a diva from the get-go, who though his sh*t didn't stink, and Crosgile for that matter too. Good riddance.

Agree.

You gotta remove the malignancy from the team. Otherwise, it can spread.
