Attendance looked awful. The game was not much better.

We need to find a kicker between now and next season.

our team never panicked those last 3 minutes and we beat Minnasotta in all 3 phases those last minutes. Estieme special teams return. Our defense shut the down and hunt and offense sealing the deal. So happy.

We should have lost the game on that play. Our DB tried to go over the top and missed. The ball went right through the wide out's hands.

I love the ACC, but the BIG EAST will always have a special place in my heart. I think that most Cuse fans feel that way.

Come on dude, we are in the Acc now. I loved the BE, but the BE that we loved no longer exists. Time to move on.

I'm surprised that SU was even in a position to win this game. SU still had eight starters out in thei game and two other key contributors. The bright side is that the team has built up some great depth for next season. I understand that Pitt was struggling with a lot of injuries too, and has built up some young depth for next season as well. I expect both teams to be improved next season.

I see many Syracuse fans stating we don't have a kicker, our starting kicker is hurt, Norton is the backup. Krautman can apply for a medical hardship waiver since he only played in two games this season. I think he's told the staff he's going to do so as we haven't recruited a kicker.

With all the trolling that everyone (including many ACC fans) did towards the Big East I have no love at all for the ACC and never will. I'm not sure how any true Louisville, Pitt or Syracuse fan could talk proudly of the ACC.

I probably heard the words Big Least over a million times and again a lot of that was from ACC fans. Nevermind the fact that the Big East outperformed the ACC almost every year.

Syracuse was a founding member of the Big East... that's our true conference and the other conferences showed a lot of disrespect towards it so screw them.

The game was exactly how everyone thought it would be defenses strong and low scoring. Great way to end the season with Hunt and the offense showing some form of an identity to start from next year

RE: Congrats Syracuse
Where exactly did this trolling by ACC fans occur?

The Big East was better than it was given credit for but it was clearly the worst of the BCS conferences and just wasn't built to withstand the changes in landscape.

Pretty much everywhere.

ESPN message boards there was a ton of it. Back before they switched to facebook comments a few months ago they had a very active board where you can click "conversation" underneath the scoreboard of the game and you'd read the words Big Least repeatedly.

Clearly the worst? That's a load of crap.

- The Big East had the third best non-conference winning percentage in the BCS era.

- They had the best bowl record.

- They had a 8-7 BCS bowl record. 5-3 in the last eight with wins over Georgia, Oklahoma, Wake Forest, Clemson and Florida. Meanwhile the ACC is 3-13.

- They also had the same amount of ranked teams or even more ranked teams than the ACC a lot despite having only eight teams to the ACC's twelve teams.

The Big East was better than the ACC and Big Ten most years. And the Pac-12 wasn't very good up until recently either. Had the Big East had 12 teams they would've easily been the third best conference almost every year. Even with just eight teams they performed just as well and even better than those conferences several years.
